Dear parents,

The information below contains assignments, tests, and due dates for the rest of the year. Students were given a copy of this calendar in class and advised to print an additional copy at home. We also highlighted all the dates for tests and dates that the assignments are due. This should help to keep everyone more organized as we begin to bring our 7^th grade year to a close. 4^th Quarter Grading Policy

1. All assignments must be completed to the best of the student’s ability and submitted on the due date.

1. If the assignment(s) is not in class or completed on the due date,

the student will complete a late slip

2. Assignment(s) may be turned in the following day for no more than

70% credit (grade of “C”).

3. Assignments submitted later than one day will receive no credit.
4. Students will receive one day per absence to complete assignments.

2. A student scoring less than 70% on a test will be permitted to retake that test.

1. The test must be retaken after school within one week of when the test is returned to the student.
2. The test may be retaken one time to earn a passing score of no more than 70%.

3. Grading percentages: Homework = 20%, Reading Tests = 40%, Vocabulary Tests 40%
