Stamp Act

 The British Government Patrick Henry against Stamp Act

The British Government debt was doubled Government in Britain decided to recover Canada from the attack of the Indians. Colonies helped support the troops by giving money. The  act passed in 1765 and was called the Stamp Act. This helped the British Government send important documents to  government officials in the colonies.

How Great Britain  raised the taxes for a few different reasons: They charged  tax for tobacco they also charged tax on newspaper.Legal documents Diplomas.
To pay for money for the troops to take possession of the Americas. Made them not able to let the French come to Britain and stranded them at the Canadian border.
