Results of the War

1. Yes, independence is important. It is the reason that we came to this country in the first place, so we could have our own lives not controlled by Great Britain. All of the laws that they were trying to enforce on us were not necessary and there was no reason for all of the taxes that they were enforcing. It would have been stupid to stay under British control.
2. The Stamp Act, the Intollerable Acts, and the Townshend Acts were laws and taxes that were enforced by Britain for no reason. There was no sence in paying these taxes to a king that was across an ocean. War was inevitable if we wanted freedom that we came here for.
3. Yes, we all think that it was a good idea to not stay under British control because they did unnessary things to try to control us.
4. We could have stayed under British control forever and have lived unnessarily. This wouldn't have done any good and there would be no America and no American dream.
